Complete Guide to Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Transport

After the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB), residents can complete exit procedures at the Hong Kong port and take shuttle buses to Macao or Zhuhai. This Kwiksure guide embodies information on parking fees and reservation details at Hong Kong port, bus and minibus routes to the bridge, as well as shuttle bus fees and timetables for round trips to Macao and Zhuhai, making it easy for you to travel between the three locations.

1. Self-Driving

For those choosing to drive to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, you can take the path via the North Lantau Highway and Shun Long Road or through the Tuen Mun - Chek Lap Kok Tunnel to reach the Hong Kong port.

You can park your vehicle at the local parking lots at Hong Kong Port and complete the necessary departure procedures at the Passenger Clearance Building before taking the shuttle bus to Zhuhai or Macao.

However, due to limited parking spaces, most of which require reservations, it is advisable to plan your trip early.

Local Parking Lots at Hong Kong Port

There are five local parking lots at Hong Kong Port. Parking lots 1 to 3 can accommodate private cars and motorcycles, with parking lots 1 and 2 equipped with electric vehicle charging facilities; parking lots 4 and 5 are designated for light trucks and taxis, respectively.

Travelers planning to drive to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge can obtain real-time traffic information and parking availability at Hong Kong port through radio traffic reports or the Transport Department’s app "HKeMobility".

The five parking lots provide a total of 673 parking spaces for private cars (including 12 spaces for persons with disabilities), 25 spaces for motorcycles, 14 spaces for light trucks, and 21 reserved taxi spaces.
