In Kwiksure’s article on the cost of car ownership in Hong Kong, we already mentioned that parking fees are one of the major expenses of car ownership in Hong Kong. Indeed, scarce parking spots and high parking fees are a constant source of headaches for many local drivers. Today, in our latest attempt to make driving a more pleasant experience, we sum up the free parking offers from all the major shopping malls in Hong Kong.

Redemption method: Before picking up your car, proceed to Concierge on Podium Level 1 (near shop 1033 or shop 1090) and present the same day original sales receipt(s) and electronic payment slip(s) and the ingress Octopus card / MASTER card / VISA card for registration.

The Landmark
If you spend HKD $500 or more on the same day, you will be entitled to 2 hours of free parking, and you’ll be entitled to 4 hours of free parking if you spend HKD $1,500 or more. These offers apply during the service hours of the three car parks at Landmark Atrium, Chater House and Exchange Square.

You can enjoy 1 hour of free parking when you spend HKD $200 or more at Langham Place from Monday to Thursday, and 2 hours of free parking when you spend HKD $400 or more from Monday to Sunday and public holidays.
*A maximum of 2 same-day sales receipts by electronic payment issued by different merchants are accepted for redemption of free parking privilege.
*Customers who redeem the free parking privilege with receipts (showing the designated minimum spending is met) from designated beauty tenants of Langham Place Office Tower, will also need to present a maximum of one receipt of Langham Place mall with a same-day spending of HKD $100 or more by electronic payment. The combined spending must meet the designated minimum amount to be eligible for free parking.
Dragon Centre
You can enjoy 2 hours of free parking from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm daily, or 4 hours of free parking from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm daily, when you spend HKD $200 or more by electronic payment at no more than two stores at Dragon Centre. A maximum of two receipts for electronic payment from different shops are accepted.

From Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 am to 9:30 pm (based on the vehicle’s entry time), you can enjoy 1 hour of free parking at the relevant car park by presenting at most 2 same-day machine-printed receipts from the shopping centre and/or the wet market showing a total spending of HKD $200 or more, or you can enjoy 2 hours of free parking by presenting at most 3 same-day machine-printed receipts from the shopping centre and/or the wet market showing a total spending of HKD $400 or more. If the receipts show the payments were made with Dah Sing Bank’s HAPPY VISA CARD, there will be 1 hour of extra free parking. (*You must present the “Park N Dine” app to enjoy the above offer)
*You will be required to present the original cardholder’s copy of the electronic payment receipts (by EPS, credit card, Octopus, etc.).
*You can enjoy 2 extra hours of free parking if you are eligible for our free parking program by spending a designated amount, and one of the receipts presented was issued by a food and beverage tenant of the mall.
The “MTR Park & Ride Scheme”
From Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), if you park your car from 6 am to 7:29 pm (based on entry time) at one of Link’s shopping centre* car parks and then ride the MTR, you can enjoy the “Park & Ride” offer by getting 1 hour of free parking with 3 hours of paid parking, or 3 hours of free parking with 6 hours of paid parking, or as many as 7 hours of free parking with 10 hours of paid parking!
How to redeem: if you use Link’s Park & Dine app, you must use the same Octopus card to park your car at a designated Link car park and then ride the MTR, show the proof of any spending in the designated mall, and redeem one of the above free parking offers at the customer service desk between 10 am and 9:30 pm on the same day.
