BYD SEAL
The BYD SEAL, a four-door sedan, employs innovative CTB (cell-to-body) technology, integrating the blade battery into the chassis structure for increased rigidity. Its sleek design gives it a sporty look, reminiscent of the Tesla Model 3. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive performance version delivers 160 kW front and 260 kW rear motors with a total torque of 670 Nm, enabling acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
For those interested in longer range, the SEAL’s Extended Range version is ideal. It uses the same 82.56 kWh battery but with a rear-wheel-drive single motor, extending the range to 570 km.
Both versions come with features like electric heated and cooled front seats, a 15.6-inch touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay in the center console, a DYNAUDIO 12-speaker audio system, and wireless phone charging. The Extended Range version offers better value if high performance isn’t a priority.

BYD DOLPHIN
Targeting the hatchback market, the BYD DOLPHIN is priced at HK$191,130, making it the most affordable BYD model in Hong Kong. Like ATTO 3 and SEAL, DOLPHIN is available in two versions: Dynamic Standard Range and Premium Extended Range.
The Premium Extended Range surpasses the Dynamic Standard Range in battery capacity, performance, and range. It features a multi-link rear suspension for better comfort, while the Dynamic Standard Range uses a torsion beam. The Premium Extended Range also includes more equipment such as wireless phone charging, an electric front passenger seat, and ventilated front seats. The “One-for-One” price difference of nearly HK$45,000 is significant, representing almost a quarter of the Dynamic Standard Range’s price.
