BMW electric cars|2025 iX

iX series is BMW's flagship electric SUV. The most obvious changes in the new version's appearance are the new LED headlights, ghost mask and luminous frame, as well as the new 21-inch wheels. The manufacturer claims that the new wheels can further reduce wind resistance. The new car not only increases battery capacity, but also increases its density by 30% and uses a new generation of SiC Inverter power inverter, which increases horsepower and torque by 60k kW and 70 Nm to 300 kW and 700 Nm respectively. The cruising range is 602 km, a significant increase from the 436 km of the pre-facelift xDrive40.
The interior hasn't undergone any significant changes, retaining the same curved left-angle display and numerous physical buttons. Furthermore, thanks to its new operating system, the new version also supports mobile phone-controlled automatic parking.

Let’s talk about iX1 first. The overall appearance is similar to the gasoline version of the X1, but the subtle differences are significant, such as the sealed double kidney mask, the reduced air intake under the front of the car, and the new taillight shape. The exterior design is more dynamic. The cabin features the typical BMW electric vehicle design, with a 10.25-inch and a 10.7-inch curved screen. These screens offer BMW Maps navigation, parking assistance, and a rearview camera. BMW Operating System 9 is pre-installed, along with QuickSelect functionality and voice control.
The iX2, the latest member of BMW's electric SUV family, officially arrived in Hong Kong earlier this year. However, the iX2's fastback design may result in a bit more headroom for rear passengers.
