Boat Insurance

In Hong Kong, it is required by law that the owners of a boat or marine pleasure craft obtain an insurance policy on the vessel. 

Boat and hull insurance is designed to protect against property damage. The hull of a boat is its outer shell and will usually be insured on a specified perils basis (the coverage will apply to specific perils only). Pleasure craft insurance will also typically provide third party insurance, protecting your liability towards third parties in the event of a collision or accident.
